Laboratory and instruments

ENGAGE facilities include a laboratory at the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering and a mobile laboratory, with portable gas sensors of new generation:

  • Laser sensors for high precision methane and ethane detection
  • Infrared sensors for CO2
  • Electrocatalytic and semiconductor sensors for hydrogen
  • Gas-chromatography for hydrogen, helium and hydrocarbon gas analyses
  • Cavity Ringdown Spectrometer (stable C isotopes of CH4 and CO2).

ENGAGE laboratory also hosts instruments for analysis of physico-chemical parameters of water.
